ACI Services Inc. Announces Expansion in Cambridge, Ohio
Posted on October 22, 2024
ACI Services Inc., in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), and the Cambridge-Guernsey County Community Improvement Corporation, today announced an investment of over $245,000 to expand its facility in Cambridge, Ohio, creating five new jobs.
A veteran-owned company, ACI Services manufactures reciprocating compressors and provides engineering solutions and performance software to the energy industry. ACI is the world’s largest supplier of custom-designed compression cylinders and has completed projects on six continents.
“Expanding into our new facility in Cambridge marks an exciting chapter for us,” said Chad Brahler, President ACI Services, Inc. “We’re not just investing in ACI infrastructure, but in the community of Cambridge. We look forward to the new growth opportunities this brings to ACI and to Cambridge.”
The expansion includes renovating unused and under-utilized portions of their Cambridge facility to accommodate the increased production required to fulfill new client contracts.

“We are excited ACI Services continues to invest and grow in Cambridge,” said Bill Arnett, Economic Development Director, Cambridge-Guernsey Community Improvement Corporation. “The company has facilities in other parts of the country, so their decision to invest here is a testament to our supportive local and state business climate.”
JobsOhio is supporting the company’s expansion with a $30,000 JobsOhio Grant, which promotes economic development, business expansion, and job creation by funding eligible projects. OhioSE helped the company through the process necessary to obtain assistance.
“We congratulate ACI Services on its expansion,” said OhioSE interim president, Katy Farber. “We love to see our local manufacturers grow their capacity and impact. We are pleased to be able to support their growth with a JobsOhio Grant.”
Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE) is the JobsOhio Network Partner for southern, eastern, and southeastern Ohio, providing economic development work and resources in 25 rural counties. Geographically the largest of the seven regions across the state, OhioSE partners closely with regional development districts, local economic development offices, state agencies, and other entities to expand, retain, and attract businesses in the counties they serve.
