InSolves Announces Expansion in Pike County
Posted on September 23, 2025
Innovative Solutions Unlimited, LLC, (dba InSolves) headquartered in Piketon, Ohio, today announced plans to expand its operations in Pike County, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), and Pike County Economic & Community Development. The woman-owned small business will invest over $225,000 to purchase new equipment, creating 7 new jobs.
InSolves, a specialty provider to the Department of Energy (DOE), delivers advanced manufacturing for nuclear applications and professional staffing services that support nuclear operations. Its primary manufacturing and fabrication customers include DOE legacy nuclear sites, National Laboratories developing next-generation reactor technology, and private industry developing advanced enrichment capacity. InSolves also provides managerial, technical, security, and administrative personnel to DOE facilities in Piketon, OH; Aiken, SC; and Paducah, KY.
“InSolves is grateful for the opportunity to work closely with JobsOhio, OhioSE, and Pike County Community and Economic Development on this important expansion,” said Steve Barbarits, Vice President. “This investment allows InSolves to accelerate our growth plan, add manufacturing capabilities, and continue meeting the demands of our valued customers. More importantly, this investment provides the local community with employment opportunities in precision manufacturing.”

Gary Arnett, Director of the Pike County Office of Community and Economic Development, said the county is excited and grateful for InSolves' commitment to Pike County to create job opportunities.
“They have always been competitive in the nuclear field for their high quality workmanship - with this expansion even more so,” said Arnett. “I would also like to thank OhioSE and JobsOhio for making this expansion possible.”
This investment is supported by a $50,000 JobsOhio Small Business Grant. The JobsOhio Small Business offers up to $50,000 in financial assistance to eligible small businesses in Ohio looking to grow their operations.
“We applaud InSolves for their continued commitment to excellence and innovation,” said Matt Abbott, President and CEO of OhioSE. “This project not only strengthens their position in the market but also fosters economic growth and opportunity in Pike County.”
Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE) is the JobsOhio Network Partner for southern, eastern, and southeastern Ohio, providing economic development work and resources in 25 rural counties. Geographically the largest of the seven regions across the state, OhioSE partners closely with regional development districts, local economic development offices, state agencies, and other entities to expand, retain, and attract businesses in the counties they serve.
