Marisa Vetula Joins OhioSE Business Development Team

Today Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE) announced Marisa Vetula would join the OhioSE Business Development team. In this role, Vetula will represent OhioSE and JobsOhio in business development efforts to robustly market the 25-county region to attract new capital investment and job creation.

Working in partnership with OhioSE leadership and the JobsOhio business development team, Vetula will lead in proactive business development outreach, lead generation, and strategic marketing of sites.

“My experience working directly with companies, local economic development partners, and JobsOhio has given me a strong understanding of our region, its business community, and the opportunities ahead,” said Vetula. “I look forward to using that experience, building on established relationships, and creating new partnerships to attract investment, support business growth, and strengthen Southeast Ohio’s economy. I see tremendous opportunity ahead and am ready to help OhioSE turn that opportunity into results.”

Vetula has served as Shale Specialist and Project Manager for regional economic development in Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, and Monroe counties. She has been with the organization since 2024.

Prior to joining OhioSE, Vetula served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Belmont County Port Authority. She pursued her degree in Communication and Media Studies at West Texas A&M and Ohio Universities. Drawing from her diverse background, she aspires to leverage her skills to foster economic development and growth in the Appalachian region.
